Age Concern Durham County have decided to become a brand partner of Age UK, the new force combining Age Concern and Help the Aged. From Friday 1st April 2011we will trade as Age UK County Durham. We will still be a strong, local and independent charity run by and for the people of County Durham.
We will continue to support all older people throughout the county through the provision of quality services and by campaigning on issues that affect them.
We firmly believe the new brand and partnership with Age UK will strengthen our work for older people and enable us to work together more effectively.
Our mission statement is:
"To promote the well-being of all older people and to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience"
